Guide

Getting Started

How to Install

Double-click the installation pack with the "drfx" extension and then just confirm the installation. That's it—it's that simple!

Toolbox

You can find all the installed effects in the toolbox, listed under rvisual.store. Get ready to have some fun!

Drag and Drop

Just drag and drop the transitions directly into your cuts on the timeline. Make sure there's a bit of extra clip duration between the two clips for the transition to fit. After that, adjust the length of the effect, and you're all set!

Controls

Pivot Overlay

Some transitions come with a "Center" control for easy centering. To make things even easier, you can enable the pivot overlay, so you'll see exactly where you're centering the effect. Just don't forget to turn it off before you render!

Fusion Overlay

You can also turn on the Fusion Overlay, allowing you to control centering right in the preview on the edit page. This makes it super easy to see your adjustments immediately!

Samples

Every effect includes a "Samples" slider that adjusts the quality of the motion blur. Setting it to 0 turns it off, 2 is the default, and you can go all the way up to 100 for the best quality. But be cautious! Higher quality settings can make render times really long. We recommend sticking between 0 and 10. Use higher values only if you're aiming for a super realistic effect.

Tips

Edit Sound

Save the sound effects from your purchased product anywhere on your computer. However, we recommend not leaving them in the Downloads folder. Add the sounds to each effect based on their name. You can easily adjust the sound length by right-clicking and selecting "change clip speed." Finally, test how the sound fits with the effect to make sure it works perfectly.

Speed Up Editing

When tweaking the effect, use lower Samples for a quicker preview. Once you're satisfied with the result, it's time to let your processor do the heavy lifting!

Real-Time Playback

For smooth playback of effects, turn on Smart or User Render Cache. This way, the effect will render to the cache after every adjustment. You'll see a line indicator above the effect: red means it's rendering, and blue means the cache is ready for real-time playback.
